I've Always Been a Storm

As I begin the process of applying for post-graduation jobs and internships, I found that I needed a few writing samples. So here is one that I have been working on for a few weeks. If there has been anything that I have learned in this process, it is that God is faithful if we trust in him.

Although published in 1952, Day’s written memories are still read in classrooms across America. The first chapter of her autobiography, entitled “Confession” was an introduction to Day’s writing style and of her process of writing an autobiography. Reading her autobiography in a college setting is a bit puzzling. One might think that in order to grasp the life of a Catholic, the lives of the saints should be read in place of Dorothy Day.
